Announcing the Next County Commissioner of Merseyside

To: All Adult Members of Merseyside Scouts
From: Andrew Corrie, Regional Commissioner

Dear All,

As you will be aware Alan Seeley completed his term as County Commissioner for Merseyside in April. The search for Alan’s successor has now been completed and I am very pleased to announce that Peter Oliver has been appointed as the new County Commissioner for Merseyside with immediate effect.

Peter who has been Deputy County Commissioner, and is currently Acting County Commissioner, has a wide range of experience in Scouting at local, national, and international level.

Under Alan’s impressive, energetic, and dedicated leadership, the County is in a very good position - robust, strong, and forward-looking and Peter is well placed to pick up the baton and take the County forward on the next stage of its journey. There will be an opportunity at the County Conference and AGM in September to officially recognise Alan’s tremendous contribution to the County as County Commissioner.

I look forward to welcoming Peter to the County Commissioner team in the North West and I am sure you will want to give Peter your full support and to wish him every success in his new role.

Andrew Corrie Regional Commissioner North West
